But in case she needs someone to defend her hairstyle, Paris Jackson is the girl for the job.
Michael Jackson's 14-year-old daughter took to Twitter also, and stood up for Cyrus' latest change.
"i don't know why people keep hating on miley's new cut.. i love it !! shes being herself & shes being different & i love her for that."
Luckily, Cyrus' fiancé Liam Hemsworth also approves the new look. "Her hair looks great," the actor said during an appearance on Thursday's Good Morning America. "It's a big change and it looks really fantastic."
