Whitney Houston's spirit was very much present at the premiere of Sparkle Thursday night in Hollywood.

The late singer's 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, walked the red carpet with a smile. Singer Ray J told E! News he was "touched" and "emotional" to celebrate Houston's final film.

"I can't even start with one thing [I wish people would remember about her]," he said. "It's just so much."

Pat Houston said her late sister-in-law "would be so proud right now."

Whitney's on-screen daughter Jordin Sparks' "face lit up" when Bobbi Kristina arrived last night. The singer-actress greeted Bobbi Kristina with "a huge smile and hug."

Sparkle opens Friday, Aug. 17, in theaters nationwide.
