Red Vines for everyone!

Production on the Fringe's fifth and final season has resumed after star John Noble took 10 days off to seek medical treament for a sleep disorder.

The Australian actor suffers from a combination of insomnia and sleep apnea, two conditions he's been dealing with for years.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Noble says, "I basically hit a wall, and we had to deal with it. I went to the hospital, had all the tests, and we put the strategies into place ot deal with both of those issues, including the space-age mask that I wear to bed now. It's pretty unsightly."

Of the well wishes he's received from fans, Noble, 63, says, "People were so bloody supportive, it was really touching. I'm feeling more well rested now and sleeping better than I have in 20 years."

Noble's break from filming did not effect the show's premiere date, which is Friday, Sept. 28.
