Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar are looking to make beautiful music together.

The duo, who formed a friendship back in July when Mother Monster met the hip-hop artist at Chicago's Pitchfork Music Festival, are joining forces on a new single.

"I am so excited to announce that a record I've been working on has now become a collaboration with @KendrickLamar for HIS ALBUM," Gaga tweeted on Wednesday. "@kendricklamar and I are dropping the record on SEPT. 6. It's called PARTYNAUSEOUS."

The "Born This Way" singer later returned to Twitter to offer up some more details about the track.

"I wrote 'PARTYNAUSEOUS' about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country. Wishing I could "get high with the enemy" and make peace," she tweeted, an obvious reference to the ban that kept her from performing in the Indonesian country earlier this year. "Once @kendricklamar + I started talking about life + his forward thinking views about love + hip hop, the song became something more."

Looking forward to hearing what they come up with!
