We loathe florals. Loathe them with the hatred of a thousand pounds of burning, flesh-eating weed killer.

But this morning we found an unlikely antidote for our plant-based rage: Miranda Kerr. For a trip to a Sydney department store, the supermodel wore not one but two floral prints. Prints that, technically, did not match and yet altogether, it's...it's...perfect.

Even the Barney-hued Prada Pyramid bag she wore while out shopping in a two-piece floral look worked. As for the rest of the outfit, we're looking at—and loving—the Erdem pencil skirt and blouse, plus oversized Miu Miu shades.

Could we get away with this ourselves? Likely not. Could we get away with even the skirt? Really, let's not delude ourselves, we'd look like a one-woman botanic garden. We'd start photosynthesizing our own food. Pigeons would colonize in our...OK, really, let's stop now.

The point is that florals do look good on somebody. Thanks for showing us the way, Miranda.
