Clear out your closet and that drawer dedicated to your unmentionables, because there are a bunch of new threads coming your way.
Author E.L. James has officially closed a licensing deal to sell official Fifty Shades of Grey underwear, shirts, stockings, pajamas, robes, garters—to name a few—in North America, according to GossipCop.com.
Not one, but three different companies were granted licenses for the erotica-inspired apparel.
FREEZE Clothing will take on the Fifty Shades T-shirts, knit tops and hoodies, HYP is set to market hosiery including stockings, garter sets and printed tights (hey now!) and Briefly Stated will create daywear and sleepwear (which includes pajamas, robes and underwear).
Fifty Shades of Grey has already been the center of a fashion campaign, numerous casting rumors (because we all know finding the perfect Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey is crucial) and book sales—even beating out Harry Potter—so something tells us this clothing deal is just the beginning.
