This has certainly not been a bad year for LeBron James.

After taking home his first NBA championship title with the Miami Heat, the superstar forward nabbed a gold medal with a "Dream Team" that included Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant in Sunday's finals, beating Spain 107-100.

But, the win didn't come without a fight (and some serious competition from Pau Gasol).

The Los Angeles Lakers' baller, who played for Spain in the Olympics, put up an impressive 24 points during the game.

This was the second straight gold medal win for Team USA, which also defeated Spain for the gold at the Beijing Games in 2008.
