Mexico's squad just nabbed the country's first gold medal in men's soccer.
The team, the underdog going into Saturday's match-up against Brazil, beat the soccer titans in a 2-1 upset at Wembley Stadium.
Oribe Peralta was the standout athlete of the game, scoring the Mexican team's first goal just 29 seconds into the final, and another in the second half.
According to Fox Sports, Peralta's lighting-quick goal is the fastest Olympic goal on record.
Today's game was a particularly stinging upset for Brazil's team, who also hoped to strike gold for their country for the first time.
