Poised to continue her world domination with her live performance happening Aug. 10 in honor of World Humanitarian Day, the ever-cool Beyoncé set out to win the hearts of world leaders as she paid a visit to the United Nations yesterday.

Meeting with the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the one and only Queen B was the picture of grace and star power as she chatted with the South Korean leader.

The Grammy Award winner has an exciting week coming up in the Big Apple as she gets set to take to the stage in the U.N. General Assembly Hall, where she'll be joined by songwriter Diane Warren—and hopefully these massive gold earrings—to film a special music video for "I Was Here." The song will be released on World Humanitarian Day, Aug. 19, and will donate all of its proceeds to the cause.
