50 Cent has already made a name for himself in the film world alongside big-time actors like Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker and Bruce Willis.

But would the 37-year-old rapper be down for a Glee guest spot next?

Yep!

"I probably would," 50 told us at the L.A. screening of his latest flick Freelancers (out on DVD Aug. 21). "Depending on what the episode was or what they had planned for it. I'm excited...I just want to work."

So what would he play? "I want to play something different," he said. "Anything other than a rapper, because I don't feel like I'm working if I'm playing that. That's the easy part."

50 says he'd never completely quit music for acting. "I have developed a passion for film," he said. "I still love music so I write music. I got a chance to explore my new passion for film. I've been lucky enough to get it right."

Speaking of music, 50 says things are coming along with Pauly D's upcoming album (the Jersey Shore star is signed to 50's record label).

"Pauly is putting his album together now and it's going to be great," 50 dished. "The only thing I can do to create a comparison or to compare his music to is David Guetta or...DJ Khaled. It's that type of [sound]. It's coming together good."
