A lot is weighing on a ring finger—especially Halle Berry's.

The Oscar winner was photographed on Wednesday in Los Angeles dressed down in black tank top, white shorts, flip-flops and pink bandana on her head, but minus the dazzling emerald ring Olivier Martinez gave her, prompting reports that Berry's upcoming wedding to her French beau might be off.

But was this a casual fashion statement or a sign of turmoil in her personal life? Well, E! News looked into it and can  definitely say the rumors of their engagement's demise are…

"Everything is good. They are all fine," a source close to the couple tells E! News.

Berry and Martinez, who met in 2010 while working together on the action thriller Dark Tide, revealed their betrothal last March after keeping it under wraps since January, when the now-infamous emerald sparkler made its first appearance on Halle's hand.

When she hasn't been battling baby daddy Gabriel Aubry over custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, Berry has meanwhile been keeping herself busy on the big screen and small. Aside from starring in the upcoming films Cloud Atlas and The Hive, the actress has also been confirmed as a guest star on Sesame Street this season.
