Oh, well, looks like Prince Harry's got some competition from his sister-in-law for the Best Royal Photo of the Olympics.

And if the prince's impromptu cuddlefest launched a thousand fantasies, then Kate Middleton's shocked (yet still completely composed and photogenic...how does she do it?!) face, pulled with aplomb while cheering on Team GB's synchronized swimmers today, will surely launch a thousand theories.

So what did Great Britain Ambassador Robin Cousins say that caused such a reaction? Did he regale her with the tale of the time he used his dessert fork in place of his salad fork? Explain that in his social circle the phrase "a man's home is his castle" is simply a saying and not a statement of fact? Shamefully admit that he's not on a first-name basis with Michelle Obama?

Whatever he said, it must've been truly shocking, as it distracted the duchess from her noble cheering on of England's women's underwater team, who competed today at the Olympic Aquatics Centre.

In any case, the sidebar didn't last long, and Middleton was quickly back on spectating form, joining not only Cousins, but Prince Albert II to watch the event.

Meanwhile, Harry and Kate later joined forces to meet with more England athletes, stopping by the Team GB House in Stratford.

The duo met up with gold medal rowers Sophie Hosking, Andy Triggs Hodge and Kate Copeland, as well as bronze medal-winning triathlete Jonny Brownlee.

And yes, she was wearing those shoes. Still.
