Robert Pattinson has got a movie to promote, whether he wants to or not.

Before he talks to Good Morning America on Wednesday, the in-demand British thesp will visit The Daily Show on Monday, a Comedy Central rep confirms to E! News.

Once again, this is a previously scheduled appearance to talk about his new film, Cosmopolis. But wouldn't it be so great if Jon Stewart was going to be the one to have the bro-to-bro, "Hmmph, women!" talk with the scorned actor?

A few days after photos popped up illustrating the more-than-friends relationship that Kristen Stewart had with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, Pattinson ditched L.A. for the more private environs of friend Reese Witherspoon's Ojai, Calif., ranch.

By Monday, it will be on to New York for Cosmpolis press—so it's possible that The Daily Show and GMA are only the tip of the interview iceberg for Pattinson. (No. 1 on our wish list? The Howard Stern Show. Yes, yes...we'll keep dreaming.)

The day-gone-wild film, based on the Don DeLillo novel about a young Wall Street hot-shot who encounters a series of colorful characters while trying to get across town for a haircut, opens in limited release on Aug. 17. As directed by David Cronenberg, it's sure to be a real mind-bender.

Presumably you can't wait to see more, so here are some brand-new pics from the film!
