Another day, another X Factor host rumor!

Glee star Kevin McHale has reportedly joined the ever-growing list of potential hosts for Simon Cowell's revamped X Factor. While the Fox reality series has its new judges Demi Lovato and Britney Spears in place, the search is still on for Steve Jones' replacements and the show's producers are looking for two people, one male and one female, to take over the hosting duties.

While reps for McHale and The X Factor had no comment on the reports, TVGuide reports that the Glee star is being considered for the high-profile gig. Should he be chosen, McHale's X Factor duties wouldn't affect his Glee schedule.

In addition to playing Artie on the Fox hit series, McHale recently co-hosted the Teen Choice Awards alongside X Factor newbie Lovato. (Was that gig McHale's audition?!) McHale actually has a history with The X Factor as he hosted a behind-the-scenes featurette during the season one premiere.

Khloé Kardashian Odom is also being considered for the hosting gig and she recently told us, "I'm a big fan of The X Factor. I've always wanted to do hosting or talk show hosting, so it's definitely something that I would love to do and would be honored to do."

As we exclusively reported, other celebrities in the running include Stacey Keibler, Mario Lopez, Kelly Osbourne, Erin Andrews, Mike Catherwood and Terrence J. Former judge Nicole Scherzinger's old Pussycat Doll bandmate Ashley Roberts has also auditioned for the job.

Still, don't expect Cowell & Co. to make a hasty decision, as a source told us, "They're doing the auditions without a host so it's no big deal they don't have hosts right now. Simon really wants to take his time. The two-person thing didn't work out the first time and he wants to make sure it works this time."

The X Factor season two premieres Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
