As we continue the second half of the summer games in London, viewers will notice some familiar faces along with new Olympians fighting for the gold.

Gymnastic fans will be glad to hear that there are more chances to watch some of Team USA's most flexible peeps compete today, along with a good number of U.S. track & field stars, but that's not all.

(And we can only hope today's events will be as exciting as yesterday's women's soccer game.)

Although she failed to medal during the uneven bars competition, Gabby Douglas will have yet another chance to grab the gold on the balance beam alongside fellow gymnast Aly Raisman, who will also be competing with Jordyn Weiber for women's floor exercises.

On the guy's side, Danell Leyva and Jonathan Horton will go toe-to-toe for a medal on the horizontal bar.

Aside from twisting, turning and flipping, expect some sprinting and jumping today, as well.

Lolo Jones, Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells will represent the red, white and blue during the women's 100-meter hurdle qualifiers, while sprinters Wallace Spearman, Maurice Mitchell, Isiah Young; Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake will take on the men's 200-meter.

You can also catch the women's volleyball team facing off with the ladies from the Dominican Republic for the quarterfinals, the U.S. women's basketball team tipping off against Canada and, last but not least, the women's water polo team competing against Australia for the semifinals.

So much to watch, you guys. What are you most excited to see?

And we're not just talking about all the Olympic man candy
