New Girl has a new funny girl!

Parker Posey, scene-stealer extraordinaire who recently appeared on Louie and The Good Wife, is set to replace Knocked Up's Leslie Mann on Zooey Deschanel's Fox comedy come this fall.

Mann was supposed to play a "shot girl" at a celebration for Schmidt (Max Greenfield) after he gets his penis cast removed in the Sept. 25 premiere (Why else do people throw parties?!), but Fox confirms to us that Posey will now take over shot duties.

We caught up with Mann at the Hollywood premiere of ParaNorman and had to ask about the casting switcheroo!

Sorry to all the drama-lovers, but this casting swap can fully be attributed to Mann's busy schedule.

"I'm not going to do it, I'm not available anymore!" she tells us. We'd totally be all "Bummer City, population: us" if someone as awesome as Posey didn't take over the part.

TVLine first reported the news of Posey's casting.

And if you thought you were the only ones bummed about missing out on Mann versus Schmidt, you are not alone. "I love him so much, like, I love Schmidt," she says. "I'm bummed."

While Mann won't be appearing serving up some shots on New Girl in the immediate future, there is a chance she may pop up on HBO's Girls. You know, that little show her husband, Judd Apatow, produces.

"That would be great!" she says of guest-starring on Lena Dunham's breakout hit. "Maybe I can be Lena's great aunt…with a FUPA!" Don't know what a FUPA is? Google it. Or better yet...don't.
