On last week's episode of Opening Act, we met Jono—just your typical Best Buy employee with one crucial difference: his voice.

Jono's powerhouse vocals and soulful tones landed him a spot as the opener for Jason Mraz.

After that things were looking up, that is until he came face-to-face with the Artist Development team and completely lost his cool. The pressure to perform, mixed with Nigel Lythgoe's critique led to some awkward tears, but in the end Jono pulled through.

Then it was off to Hawaii, where Jono would finish off his boot camp and eventually take the stage with one of his idols.

The best part? Jono's family flew in to Hawaii to witness his big moment live and in person. How awesome is that?!

It's just what our guy Jono needed, as he took the stage and performed a duet with Mraz.
