Many might have thought this mystery man was a new love for the actress, but, we're sorry to burst your bubble, that's not the case

Has Katie Holmes already moved on with her love life (you know how popular rebound romances are in Hollywood)?

The actress was seen enjoying a dinner date in New York City Friday night at the NoMad Hotel in Manhattan's Gramercy neighborhood with a man we thought might be a possible new fling for Tom Cruise's ex, but 'twas not the case.

According to People, Holmes was enjoying the company of Jonathan Wolfe, her lawyer, and his wife Renee. 

Of course, minds might assume the topic of conversation would be Katie's divorce from Cruise, but seeing how her legal woes with her ex-hubby have already been settled, the trio could have just wanted to catch up and not bring any of those issues up at all.

Yes, that actually happens...sometimes.
