Designer tweets she had nothing to do with the gold and white outfits worn by the hometown team.

Stella McCartney's got nothing against white and gold—just not the way it was worn tonight.

Sir Paul's daughter, or someone on her social media team, jumped on Twitter during the opening ceremony to clarify she "designed the Team GB performance kit, podium suit & villagewear, not the Olympic ceremony suits."

Ouch. That now-dubious honor belongs to Next (who are currently smashing all their Beatles albums).
