We all know that Superman can fly, but who knew the guy could fish, too?

Yep. In the new teaser (actually, make that teasers) for the highly anticipated Man of Steel, which premiered this weekend in front of The Dark Knight Rises, we get a brief glimpse of Krypton's sole survivor looking all scruffy and working on a boat.

Those shots are subsequently interlaced with very moody imagery of laundry billowing on a clothesline as well as a young Clark Kent playing in a cape.

As for the two versions, both feature the same footage, but each contains different voiceovers.

In one, we hear Kevin Costner, who plays our hero's adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, in the film.

"You're not just anyone," he says. "One day, you're going to have to make a choice. You'll have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, is going to change the world."

The other features the voice of Russell Crowe as Superman's biological father Jor-El.

'You will give the people an ideal to strive towards," he can be heard saying. "They'll rise behind you. They will stumble. They will fall. In time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders."

And fear not, we do get a taste of our man (Henry Cavill) taking flight at the end.

Sure, it may be from a distance, but it's pretty exciting nevertheless.

Man of Steel hits theaters summer 2013.
