We'll just start by saying that our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the senseless shooting in Colorado that left 12 people out for a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises dead and another 58 injured.

DARK NIGHT: A movie theater should be a safe haven, but the Century 16 multiplex in Aurora, Colo., turned into a nightmare when a gunman opened fire on a 12:05 a.m. screening of The Dark Knight Rises, killing 12 people and injuring another 58. Suspect James Holmes, a former graduate student in neuroscience at the University of Colorado in Denver, is in custody and is due in court on Monday. Here's everything we have on what happened.

THIS ISN'T SPINAL TAP: Fred Willard was arrested during an LAPD vice squad visit to an adult movie theater in Hollywood. The comedic actor lost his PBS gig despite his insistance that the police had made a big mistake, and now prosecutors are giving him a chance at an alternative to facing charges.
