Full House Actress Jodie Sweetin Sues Driver in Car Accident

Former child star claims to have lost wages and earning capacity as a result of a crash from March 2011

Stephanie Tanner—er, Jodie Sweetin—is heading to court!

The Full House actress filed a lawsuit Thursday over a year-old car accident, per court documents obtained by E! News. Sweetin, 30, is suing the driver of the other vehicle, Clark Taylor Savros, for more than $25,000. Per Sweetin's lawsuit, the incident occurred on March 2, 2011, at Olympic Boulevard and Alvarado Street in Los Angeles.

In the filing, she claims to have suffered property damage, loss of wages, lose of earning capacity and "future loss of earnings and future medical expenses."

So what happened?

Well, on March 4, 2011, she tweeted: "Sorry guys! Had a car accident, im ok. A wrist fracture and neck and body are really sore. Car totaled. Not fun :( but thankful not worse!"

She informed her Full House costar Candace Cameron Bure (aka D.J. Tanner) she was "[d]riving home from 'Take Me Home Tonight' premier and someone turned left RIGHT in front of me. Hit them, totaled my car :("

She also told a concerned tweeter that, "thankfully, kids weren't in the car. But my friend and I got pretty banged up. Taking it easy at home with the family now!"

To another Twitter user, she explained, "Someone turned left in front of me right as I went through the intersection!"

Calls to Sweetin's reps for comment have not yet been returned.
