Katie Holmes and Suri Have a Playdate in the Big Apple

Mother-daughter duo hit the town Friday, checking out the Children's Museum and FAO Schwarz

Well, you know what they say…girls just wanna have fun. 

And that's exactly what Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri did Friday as they carried on with their whirlwind week in New York City.

Fresh off her divorce filing (and settlement agreement), Holmes and her little budding fashionista continued to make their rounds around the Big Apple, with a playdate at the Children's Museum of the Arts with Suri's pal, a stop for ice cream at Via Quadronno and a trip to FAO Schwarz. 

And it looked like Suri didn't go too toy-crazy in the famous shop.

The 6-year-old cutie, who left with a painted face, was snapped carrying only one stuffed animal in her arms. 

This has been quite the fun-filled week for the mother-daughter duo, who have visited Central Park Zoo, Chelsea Piers, and done some serious shopping, among other things.
