Tom Cruise is back at work after what had to have been one of his toughest couple of weeks ever. And son Connor Cruise is...also back at work!

After visiting his dad on the set of his latest film, the 17-year-old braved the wilds of Comic-Con to be the opening DJ at a launch party last night for the Resident Evil 6 video game at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego—a precursor to today's Resident Evil: Retribution panel and pressers featuring Milla Jovovich & Co.

So, what's the word on the young Cruise's spinning skills?

Event organizers told E! News that Connor did a phenomenal job, was incredibly upbeat and kept the crowd moving before Jermaine Dupri and RZA started their set at the shindig hosted by IGN and Capcom.

Perhaps a bit tired after traveling from Mammoth Lakes, Calif., the resort town where Cruise is filming Oblivion, hundreds of miles to to San Diego, Connor didn't stay for the party, instead skipping out after his set was over.

The teen has voiced nothing but support for his dad since his soon-to-be-former stepmom, Katie Holmes, filed for divorce.

"#LaFamilia‬ Always. Friends Come And Go, But Family Is Forever," Connor tweeted after the news broke.
