Mathieu Young/FOX On Wednesday night's So You Think You Can Dance, Cat Deeley accidentally slipped and called current judge Mary Murphy the name of former judge Mia Michaels. Awkward, yes. But no big whoop, right?
Well, since Radar Online also just reported that Mary is most definitely getting replaced by Mia next season, some of you fans were left wondering: Does our girl Cat know something we don't know? Is Mary actually leaving?
Nope!
Multiple sources tell us that there are no plans for Mary to exit SYTYCD.
"Mary is our resident judge," a show insider tells us exclusively. "She is not going anywhere."
What's more, producers have lined up guest judges for the rest of the season, and Mia is not one of them.
So now we can all go back to believing Cat Deeley is an adorable, charming, well-intended (but not perfect) TV host—not part of some scandalous casting conspiracy. Who doesn't get their "M.M." judges confused sometimes?
