Comic-Con is not known for its red-hot outfits—unless you consider 300 fan girls squeezed into Princess Leia slave-dancer costumes to be a fashion revolution.
And yet, behold: Three actresses coming pretty darn close to looking red-carpet-worthy.
First up is Lost alum Maggie Grace, who showed up at the con's Breaking Dawn: Part 2 screening wearing barely-there leather shorts by Theory, plus a Dries Van Noten top and a jacket by Elizabeth and James. We're not thrilled with the jacket-and-shorts combo—not that we're encouraging her to take the Miley Cyrus route—but we think she should have stuck with one or the other.
Now let's take a gander at Ashley Greene, who showed up for the same event in an oddly funerary floral frock by Oscar de la Renta. We like her silver metallic de la Renta sandals much better.
And then comes Nikki Reed. Look, we know she kinda looks like the corner of Wilshire and Fairfax here in Los Angeles, but for us jaded fashion elites, this Etro sheath totally works. We love when a mainstream-type gal takes a big fashion risk and, even if you don't like the effect, you gotta hand her points for taking the leap.
So, which comic heroine made the best splash during the first night of the con?
