It was just announced today that the surviving members of Run-D.M.C. will reunite on the main stage during the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin this November.

The reunion will be the first time in a decade that Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels has performed since the wildly successful hip-hop group was disbanded following the 2002 shooting death of DJ Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell.

"We couldn't be more excited," Fun Fun Fun Fest producer James Moody said in a press release. "Run-D.M.C. is one of our favorite bands, and one of the most influential groups of all time."

Run-D.M.C. was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 thanks to such hits as "My Adidas," "Walk This Way" and "It's Tricky."
