They bring the funny...but will they take home the award?
Emmy season is upon us, and we like to think of it as TV's version of The Hunger Games...except everyone wears tuxedos and instead of killing each other, they exchange compliments and pose for pictures. So yeah, nothing like the Hunger Games at all, but we think you get the picture.
Today, we're taking a looksie at some of the top contenders for supporting actor in a comedy series. Vote now!
Talk about a tough decision.
There is so much funny going on in this list that we actually started laughing while compiling it. How could you not when you're visualizing Happy Endings' Damon Wayans Jr. twirling with glee or his costar Adam Pally pretending to be a bear for an entire episode? And don't even get us started on the hilarity that New Girl roomies Max Greenfield and Jake M. Johnson brought to the small screen this season. But will they be able to go up against heavy hitters like How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris and Modern Family's Ty Burrell? And what about HBO's dark horses?
That is the question we are asking you to answer, and sorry, but there is no "all of the above" option. This isn't Little League baseball; everyone doesn't get a trophy just because they participated (aka picked grass in the outfield). Take a gander at our supergallery of outstanding supporting actors in a comedy series who could find themselves on the ballot when nominations are announced, and then place your vote for your favorite funnyman.
