If Woody Allen is looking for great comedic talent for his next movie, he need look no further than down the family tree.

Attorney and activist Ronan Farrow, the director's only biological son with former longtime partner and muse Mia Farrow, remembered to wish his dad a happy Father's Day yesterday.

But just like dad's films, the sentiment came cloaked in dark comedy.

"Happy father's day—or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law's day," Ronan tweeted, acknowledging Allen's scandalous-to-this-day marriage to Soon-Yi Previn, one of Farrow's adopted daughters with the late musician André Previn.

Whether or not you think that extended family's got more creep factor than Rosemary's Baby, Team Mia player Ronan still sounds a little haunted.

Along with two adopted siblings, the 24-year-old ended up at the center of a nasty custody dispute between Farrow and Allen, who never married, in 1993. Farrow won custody and Allen was only allowed supervised visits with Ronan, who was 5 at the time.

Ronan has since followed in his activist mom's footsteps. He's currently a special adviser to the Secretary of State for Global Youth Issues and director of the State Department's Global Youth Issues office, and has worked in Darfur, Afghanistan, Pakistan and a number of other volatile regions on behalf of human rights interests.
