Fist-pumping this was not. More like fisticuffs.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is on the receiving end of a private citizen's complaint, brought by a man who claims the Jersey Shore star roughed him up in a bar fight.

Color us shocked.

Per court documents filed last week in Seaside Heights, N.J., Municipal Court and obtained by E! News, Justin Viterito accused the 26-year-old Ortiz-Magro of simple assault that resulted from a brawl at Seaside nightclub Bamboo Bar on June 9.

According to Viterito's account, the brouhaha began when a friend of his "was shoved by a cast member from the show" and as he moved to help, Viterito was "struck in the left eye" by the reality star.

The complaint also named as defendants MTV and parent company Viacom.

Neither man's attorney was available for comment, and the cable network has remained mum on the matter. But Ortiz-Magro must appear at a court hearing set for July 3.

Besides the Bronx native, the melee affected his fellow castmate 26-year-old Jenni "JWoww" Farley, who reportedly ended up sustaining a minor foot injury.

This isn't the only time this month a member of the Jersey Shore crew has gotten into legal trouble.

Castmember Deena Cortese was busted on June 10 on a disorderly conduct charge after walking out of a bar and dancing in traffic.
