Purple may be the color of royalty, but Kate Middleton is clearly making a play for green to trump it, because no public figure is a more devoted recycler (at least of her own fashions) than the duchess.

Prince William's better and far more sartorially savvy better half (sorry, Wills) proved that over the weekend, when she turned up in the English countryside for a friend's wedding wearing a rather familiar-looking ensemble.

Hey, what's old is new again. And again. And again...

In fact, the young royal brought out nearly all of her greatest hits to complete her latest ensemble. Ready to play along at home? Let's start from the top. The tip-top.

Those Brits certainly love their fascinators, and Kate is no exception, as the 30-year-old brought back the same Whiteley number that she first debuted at the Epsom Derby in June 2011 (which, at least, is a laundry cycle more in line with her royal status than, say, 11 days).

Also out for a rewearing is her Katherine Hooker dove-gray Buxton coat, which also made quite a stylish splash last June when Kate attended William's procession with the Order of the Garter, Britain's oldest Order of Chivalry (who says it's dead?).

The real star of the outfit, other than Kate herself, obviously, is her floral printed silk Jenny Packham dress, which she memorably donned during her and William's first trip to the U.S. last year while attending the Foundation Polo Challenge.

As for how she accessorized the outfit? How else but with her trusty and now-signature nude LK Bennett pumps.

Well, Kate's preferred method of recycling may not help the environment, but it sure helps her pocketbook.
