Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon, and Cindy Barshop, we'll miss you. But Real Housewives of New York City has three new, interesting ladies to step into their stilettos.

Monday night, season five of Real Housewives of New York City premiered on Bravo. Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer returned for another round of drama and were joined by newcomers Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson.

Who exactly are these fresh faces?

Drescher is a socialite, wife and mother of four with a master's in French from NYU and a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. The native New Yorker was in a farm accident when she was 6 years old that resulted in the amputation of her left leg. Her motto, as introduced last night, is "Never underestimate a woman born and raised in New York City."

Radziwill is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author. Her husband, ABC News producer Anthony Radziwill, passed away in 1999 at age 40 after a five-year battle with cancer.

Thomson is the creator of Yummie by Heather Thomson, a successful shapewear line. She is married with two young children.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
