Just when you thought Alexander Skarsgård couldn't possibly get any hotter on True Blood, he actually does.
Literally.
The cast and crew of HBO's fangtastic series were spotted this weekend filming for the new season in hot and steamy New Orleans.
So what were they up to? Read on to find out...
Twitter exploded with pics and tweets from a night shoot that took place Friday on Bourbon Street with Skarsgård and Stephen Moyer. It looks like hundreds of people descended onto the shoot to watch the action from the streets, rooftops and balconies.
One fan got a shot of Eric (Skarsgård) carrying Bill (Moyer) on his back. In another, Eric stands on top of a yellow taxicab with a megaphone up to his mouth (maybe he was telling the crowd to simmer down?). He looks studerrific in his signature black tank top and jeans.
Some pics show Eric and Bill with their fangs out.
"Alexander Skarsgard & ME!" a fan, Andre Harrison Jr., tweeted. "Met him just now at Starbucks, super sweet, beautiful smile, insanely tall, LOVE."
True Blood last came to Louisiana to shoot in July 2009, according to The Times-Picayune newspaper.
Denis O'Hare, who plays the former Vampire King of Mississippi Russell Edgington, tweeted that he didn't get back to his hotel room until 4:30 a.m.
"Crazy crazy night," O'Hare, who was also snapped by fans with fangs out, posted after they wrapped. "A shooting situation like I've never experienced before."
We can't wait to see the final outcome when the new season premieres June 10 on HBO.
