Who knew President Barack Obama was keeping up with the Kardashians? (Well, sorta.)
During his appearance on The View this morning, the ladies put the commander in chief's pop culture knowledge to the test.
So how did he do?
When asked which of the E! reality stars was only married for 72 days, he quickly replied, "That would be Kim."
However, he did admit the only reason he was aware of that (or so he says) was because she was married to a ballplayer.
"That's how I know, from watching basketball," the sports fanatic insisted with a smile.
Obama also showed off his fanboy side when he was asked if he could name three of the superheroes in the movie The Avengers.
"I just saw it, so this is easy," he said. "You've got the Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man."
But the leader of the free world did get tripped up on a couple of things.
Obama didn't realize that Jessica Simpson had recently given birth to a daughter, nor could he answer the following question regarding the best-seller Fifty Shades of Grey.
"What's the controversial sex book that's on millions of women's bedside tables?" cohost Joy Behar asked.
"I don't know that," revealed Obama, before playfully adding, "But I'll ask Michelle when I get home."
