Simon Helberg has a big reason to celebrate when Father's Day rolls around next month...the Big Bang Theory star is officially a dad!

The 31-year-old thesp and his actress wife, Jocelyn Towne, welcomed a baby girl last Tuesday, E! News has confirmed.

"The family is thrilled," a source told Us Weekly. "Simon is excited to be a father—he's been doing his reading."

This is the first child for Helberg and Towne, who tied the knot in July 2007.
