Adam Rose/FOX McKinley High's prom has come and gone. Graduation and Nationals are fast approaching. We had been holding onto hope that the graduating seniors would be popping up every now and then during season four, but apparently, one our favorite crooners may have just filmed her last scene ever.
Fans of Mercedes (Amber Riley) might consider relishing these last three episodes because there's a chance we won't see the singer next season.
"That's a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years," the actress tweeted. "I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday! I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL'S OUT Glee Kids! Let's play!"
Say what?! Thankfully, the girl gave us a glimmer of hope a few minutes later, tweeting, "Stay tuned to see what's next for Mercedes ;)"
When asked about the star's tweet, Amber's rep had "no comment."
