Once again, no one interviewed Chris Brown on Dancing With the Stars, but the controversial R&B star's performance of "Turn Up the Music" was a fittingly energetic distraction from the real business at hand.

Two contestants had to leave tonight to pave the way for next week's semifinals, and only six points separated first place from last.

William Levy led the field and Melissa Gilbert languished in last place, but did the scores matter when the viewers' votes were counted?

Not entirely, and that's a shame.

Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower, despite earning their first pair of 10s last night and finishing in second place, were finally eliminated after ending up in jeopardy week after week.

"I'm definitely very happy that I can add ballroom dancing to my super-duper dance moves," the Disney Channel star quipped.

"He was such a joy to work with and came every day willing to work," Chelsie added. "[He had] such a great attitude and was really so much fun. I'm happy to end it on a high note."

Also leaving the party just shy of the semifinals are Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who battled through Melissa's concussion and Maks' temper to make it this far.

William, Donald Driver, Katherine Jenkins and Maria Menounos remain to compete next week!
