Mill about with guests, check out the buffet, join some cute old ladies giving a lesson on how to knit booties and even watch Simpson open a present or two and gush over the contents—think pink cowboy boots, a pacifier and frilly dresses.
The Fashion Star mentor wanted to give her fans a fly on the wall perspective of her big day and wrote on her website, "Creating a family is the best thing I've done in my life." She added, "I really hope I can be half as good of a mom as my mom has been to me."
The fabulous event was organized by celebrity party planner, Mindy Weiss, who told Us Weekly, "It was a kid friendly shower." That certainly seemed to be the case as BFF Jessica Alba brought 8-month-old, Haven, and little sis Ashlee Simpson carted along her boy, Bronx, 3.
And what a lovely event it seemed to be. We wouldn't know for sure, because we weren't invited either, but it looks like everyone had a great time.
