TwitterMarie Osmond has a welcome new addition her family.
Over the weekend, the 52-year-old singer adopted an adorable dog named George at Fashion for Paws, a fashion show benefitting the Washington, D.C. Humane Society.
"Looks like my kids are getting a new best friend form the Washington, D.C. Humane Society," she tweeted. "It's George!! Cute, right?"
Um, yes!
"They tell me George is a mutt," she wrote. "I grew up with mutt's…they rock. I'm already head over heels for this little guy."
But he won't be little for long. "They tell me George will be about 60 to 70 pounds," she tweeted. "There goes the couch!!!"
On Sunday, Marie posted a photo of George—deep in sleep—to Facebook. "George, Day 1," she wrote. "I think he'll have a very calming influence on me. Don't you? lol"
Looks like puppy love to us.
