Lauren Scruggs continues to make great progress.

Four months after the model and fashion blogger lost her left eye and hand in a horrific propeller accident, her parents, Cheryl and Jeff Scruggs, spoke to Katie Couric about how their daughter is doing during an appearance on Good Morning America Friday.

"Everything she's been through and the journey she's still on, she's doing remarkable," said Cheryl. "She's concentrating on her rehabilitation still, and she knows that God is caring for her and healing her and, because of him, has the strength and determination and the courage to wake up every day."

Added Jeff, "She has the same spunk, her same personality. It inspires all of us."

And while Lauren has "four teams of doctors" and is expected to receive a prosthetic limb in about a month, fortunately she has no recollection of the night that changed her life forever.

"All she remembers is getting out of the plane," said Jeff. "That's the last thing she remembers."
