Madonna Flirts With Britney Spears on Twitter: "Kiss Me Again"

Pop icons playfully tease about recreating their infamous MTV Video Music Awards smooch

Who says a kiss is just a kiss?

Clearly not Madonna or Britney Spears, who quickly conjured up memories of their infamous smooch at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards with a little flirtatious fun on Twitter last night.

It all started when Spears complimented the Material Girl on her latest collection of music, MDNA.

"Love the new album," she tweeted. "Every single song is incredible."

To which Madonna replied, "Please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!"

When Spears answered with, "Tempting...," the music icon asked, "Are you gonna make me work for this?"

Spears then teased, "Why of course!"

Something tells us these two just moved to the top of MTV's invite list for this year's show.
