Carrie Underwood kicked off the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the first award of the evening was presented by Two Broke Girls' Beth Behrs. New country super couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were up for several awards, but were they able to take home some hardware?
So who won big? Plus, which American Idol alum went home with a prestigious award?

The Voice mentor took home the award for male vocalist of the year while his wife Miranda, who came into mentor his contestants on the NBC reality show, won female vocalist and album of the year.
Still, Blake wasn't a match for Taylor Swift when it came to one of the night's biggest awards: Entertainer of the Year. After winning the ceremony's highest honor, Taylor tweeted, "Oh, what a night....(thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!)"
The Voice wasn't the only reality singing competition to score some ACM love: American Idol's current champion Scotty McCreery won new artist of the year.
