Chloë Sevigny Attends Jeffery Fashion Cares Event, But Clearly Doesn't Care About How She Looks

Chloë Sevigny is the only one smiling about this outfit.

The Lovelace actress forgot to check herself in a mirror last night before attending the Jeffery Fashion Cares 2012 event at the Intrepid Carrier in New York City.

The event was called "Fashion Cares" and yet she chose to wear this long see-through top and layered silk skirt from Proenza Schouler's Fall 2012 collection, paired with a black clutch and unfortunate clogs that may or may not have been taken from a Dutch schoolgirl.

There appears to be a lot of things going on here...

And we wonder if it's all part of some elaborate Halloween costume? You see, the top is a perfect blend of soccer player meets stripper, while the bottom looks like it was ripped off of some tacky Tinkerbelle outfit. Perhaps this is her version of a sexy soccer fairy?

It's no secret that Chloë's style is eclectic, to put it nicely, but we hardly even recognized the 37-year-old here. Getting a fun new 'do is one thing, but it's quite another to give up on putting in any effort.

Sorry, Chloë, this just isn't working for us—or you, for that matter.
