Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles Ordered to Testify in Stage Collapse Lawsuit

Judge orders singer to tell her side of the story and clarify whether the band resisted delaying their show despite severe weather warnings

Sugarland star Jennifer Nettles is going to have to revisit the memories of last year's tragic stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair.

According to WENN, the 37-year-old musician has been ordered to testify in a lawsuit stemming from the incident that killed seven people.

In January, the Indiana State Fair Commission Executive Director claimed Sugarland resisted delaying the start of their show despite severe weather warnings. On Friday, a judge ordered Nettles to provide her testimony next month and give her side of the story.

Members of Sugarland have denied responsibility for the accident, calling the incident an "act of God."
