Talk about a dress with legs!

This Alexander McQueen draped frock has been making appearances on the red carpet since it debuted on the spring 2008 runway. The timeless and simple design has been a fave of many different actresses over the years.

British babe Sienna Miller wore a black, unbelted version of the spankin'-new design to the premiere of her film Interview in 2007. The recently pregnant and possibly engaged star, 30, kept her look regulation with black peep-toe heels and her wavy blond hair swept up with loose wisps.

But she's not the only one who's supporting the draped fabric...

Katie Holmes, 33, went for a more eclectic vibe in a houndstooth version of the dress at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon in February 2008. The Dawson's Creek darling went with a short wavy bob and bangs, purple suede peep-toes and the designer's skull clutch to create a bit more texture.

Also rocking the frock was Lucy Liu, who kicked it up a notch in the hot-pink belted version just a month earlier at a taping of The Late Show wWth David Letterman in NYC. The Charlie's Angels star, 43, wore her hair pulled back tight and added black pumps and long black gloves for some edge.

Kate Beckinsale donned the same version for her BFF Eva Longoria's charity event in L.A. just a month ago. The 38-year-old Underworld babe lost the gloves and kept it light with pretty peep-toe heels, a high ponytail and black clutch.
