"Nice little twist there for everyone!"

That's the understatement of the TV season, courtesy of Once Upon a Time's Meghan Ory. In fact, we'd say OUAT's reveal that the Little Red Riding Hood is also the Big Bad Wolf may be one of our favorite plot twists this year—it was that awesome.

We chatted with Red/Ruby/Big Bad Wolf Ory to discuss Once's latest game-changer, if she was nervous she'd be killed off after learning she was the Wolf, and what's next for Red. Plus, will we be seeing Ruby interact with Belle (Emilie de Ravin)?

"I learned a few episodes in," Ory explains. "I sort of had a feeling about it just based on a few of the conversations I'd had with [creators] Adam [Horowitz] and Eddy [Kitsis], but it was a few episodes in and they called me. I was like, 'So can we talk a little bit more about Ruby and Red?' And Eddy was like, 'Well basically, you're the wolf.' "

Her reaction to the crazy-cakes twist? "My jaw hit the floor. I was like, 'OK, awesome. I love it!' "

While she was excited about the twist, Ory also had another reaction to the news, considering the Big Bad Wolf is, you know, supposed to be all evil and Little Red Riding Hood-killing. "I was a little worried about it," Ory admits, when we asked if she was nervous about being killed off in the fairy-tale world.

So what's next for Red now that she's learned her family's darkest secret? "I think the fact that Red is a wolf is going to be an element now. That's always an aspect she's got: an ace up her sleeve," Ory says. "She changes. You're not going to be the same person after something like that happens to you. Seeing Red in the future is definitely going to be different."

In Storybrooke, Ruby played a huge part (thanks to her wolfy senses!) in Emma's ongoing investigation into Kathryn's (Anastasia Griffith) disappearance. So will she continue to find herself involved in the case? "We're definitely going to be hearing a lot about the Kathryn case," Ory teases. "Ruby will be around, that's for sure."

Because she isn't a series regular (crazy alert!), we had to ask Ory if Red and Ruby's fans should be worried about her fate as the season comes to close, as we all know Once isn't afraid to get a little bloody (RIP Sheriff Graham!).

"I think there's a very good chance you'll be seeing more of Ruby and Red," Ory says of season two. "Never say never with these folks, but I think people would be pretty sad if we didn't get to see the end of that story."

Now that we know all the Disney princesses seem to know each other in some way, will we be seeing Red interact with Belle? Or maybe see Ruby interact with Belle's Storybrooke counterpart, who is currently locked in a padded cell? "I am not sure if I'm allowed to say. I'm not sure if I do or not," Ory says. "You'll have to wait and see."

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
