Jonah Hill Pokes Fun at His Oscar Nom, Acts Like a 6-Year-Old on Saturday Night Live

If you were hoping for Brad Pitt to make an appearance during Jonah Hill's second hosting stint on Saturday Night Live…you're out of luck.

But the 28-year-old Moneyball star did team up with an A-lister during his opening monologue, right after he busted his own chops about his Oscar nom (and subsequent loss to Best Supporting Actor winner Christopher Plummer).

So, which celeb hit the stage to poke a little fun at Hill too?

Tom Hanks, who brought along a faux Oscar statue just to rub in Hill's loss a little bit more.

"You have mastered the role of a mature and caring man and I would like you to have this," Hanks says, passing Hill the statuette. "I'm just kidding. You lost man. You don't get no Oscar!" Hanks said, yanking it back.

But perhaps the best part of Hill's opener was the prerecorded bit that showed what happened when Hill had cameras following him around "all week" while he was preparing for SNL.

"Can I get a Diet Coke? I'm just a little parched from all that red carpet banter. Oscar nom stuff," Jonah says to Andy Samberg in the clip. "Get that Diet Coke and we'll see if there's a tip in it for ya."

And then after discussing how people were afraid he would take himself too seriously following his big nomination, Hill tries to go for the jugular with Kristen Wiig.

"I feel so weird. You know that feeling like you were just got nominated for an Oscar? Wait…what am I talking about? Of course you don't know that feeling," Hill says, brushing over Wiig's Best Original Screenplay nod.

And then it was time for the show.

Surprisingly, Hill's opening monologue was one of the highlights of the night, but his "Brutus" and "Six Year Old Returns" skits were also laugh-out-loud funny as well.

During "6-Year-Old Returns," Hill reprised his role of Adam Grossman from his last SNL hosting gig, and brought back all the offensive and over-the-top antics the loud, talkative, geeky 6-year-old had to offer…during a dinner with his dad at Benihana.

"Did a hurricane of sexuality just blow through here or did Debby Wasserstein just enter the building?," Adam yells when his dad's new girlfriend walks in.

And during "Brutus," Hill plays a doctor who shows off an ape named Brutus at a press conference that he taught how to talk. But, this soon backfires when Brutus speaks and reveals that he and the doc had a bit of a sexual relationship.

"He sex me," Brutus says when he first starts talking to the audience, before going on to describe their sexual excursions. "He take me to hotel." "He dress like school girl."

But that wasn't all.

Hill also got hit below the belt with a tennis ball an absurd number of times in "Digital Short" as a part of a science experiment (tennis star John McEnroe even served one up), accidentally slices his leg with a samurai sword on "J Pop America Fun Time Now" and raps Coolio's "I'll C U When You Get There" during an inappropriate anniversary celebration, among other things.

Indie rock band The Shins was also on hand to perform "Simple Song" and "It's Only Life."

So, tell us, what did you think of Hill's SNL hosting stint this go-round? Did he strike gold or fall flat?

Sound off in the comments.
