Thanks to Prince Harry, the folks in Rio de Janeiro are no doubt saying TGIF right about now.

The redheaded royal arrived in the Brazilian city today for the last leg of his first solo overseas tour.

But unlike his other stops over the past week in Belize, the Bahamas and Jamaica, his trip to Rio (as well as São Paolo) is not part of the Diamond Jubilee marking the queen's 60th year on the throne.

Rather, over the next three days, the younger Prince of Wales will spend time in both Rio and São Paulo in support of the U.K.'s interests in the region as well as Harry's own charities.

And while his tour officially comes to an end on Sunday, Harry isn't planning on heading back home right away. He has decided to stick around and enjoy all that the area has to offer until Wednesday.

Hey, it is Rio.
