Kanye West Banishes Fashion Editors From Paris Runway Preview

Rap superstar explained, "I don't know about this. I got treated unfairly by the press last time. Why would I want to do this?"

Someone seems to be holding a grudge.

Kanye West went from music mogul to fashion designer for the first time last October, when he debuted his clothing line during Paris Fashion Week., which, unfortunately, was not the biggest hit.

So now, Yeezy and his new line are back in the City of Light, meaning it's time for redemption, right?

Well, you would think, but apparently not.

West showed his Fall 2012 line last night to a star-studded front row—including Alicia Keys, P.Diddy, Common and Kim Kardashian (wearing a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels that Kanye designed)—but when it came to giving the fashion editors a preview of his stuff, he didn't do it.

According to a New York Times fashion editor who was present for the scheduled collection viewing, "He canceled last minute, saying, 'I don't know about this. I got treated unfairly by the press last time. Why would I want to do this?'"

Hmmm...because you want to prove that you've evolved as a fashion designer since last season? Because it's your chance to give your side of the story?

But what do we know?

West didn't even want to explain the ideas behind his creations, saying, "If they don't understand it, they don't understand it."

Do you think Kanye's reasoning is legit? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
