Was someone doing a little drunk posting last night?

Electro-prog production duo Manufactured Superstars tells E! News that the video for "Drunk Text," featuring Paris Hilton as—go figure—a party girl who talks about drunk dialing after a few too many vodka shots, was not ready for release and they are working on removing illegal copies from the web.

So, is the NSFW spoken-word tune going to be a single from Hilton's upcoming album?

"We can confirm that the video leaked today is not part of Paris Hilton's new album," her rep confirms exclusively to E! News. "This video was recorded over a year ago. The first single [from Paris' album] will be out in a few months, we will let everyone know when it's due for release."

Manufactured Superstars, meanwhile, says that Hilton was indeed doing them a favor by starring in the video.

"This is an unfinished rough cut, which was not ready for release," said the choicely named duo (aka Brad Roulier and Shawn Sabo). "We're looking into what happened and removing the illegal copies from the web. We've heard some songs from her new record which are incredible and are really going to surprise people."

Oh, we're already surprised!

Hilton's debut album, Paris, came out in 2006 and made it to No. 6 on the Billboard 200.
